So…I have issues sometimes with the English language…and here I will outline some of the other words I have messed up.
Tales of the Abyss: Chesedonia (instead of Cas-e-donia…I read it as Cheese-donia)
Harry Potter: Sirius ( instead of Serious, I read it as Si-rus)
Pokemon: Spiritomb (I read as Spiritbomb), and Ciphown (I read as Chipher)
I also have a hard time with Ian…if I see the world I will say I-an…instead of E-an…like it’s supposed to be. Same with Sean…I read as sean instead of shawn…
I fail sometimes.
( And gif not really related…I’m just tired)
So…I have been playing this game for a while. I liveblog about it so there won’t be much talk here aside from…
I LOVE ION!
He’s adorable and lovable and I just wanna hug him. And Luke totally wants him.
Heck…there was an earthquake…and what does Luke do…he hugs Ion.
Really…this game makes LukeXIon way too easy to ship.
So much fun.
But yeah…if you wanna see more in depth look as I go through this game, go to the following link.
On there you can also find a link to my personal tumblr…if you really wanna deal with more random nerdiness.
So, the other day I played Portal.
It is a relatively easy game, and I beat it in a few hours (with some help from my friend). The dialogue is funny to me though. When GlaDos would say something, I’d often be saying the opposite.
“You weren’t going to die, it was merely a test.”
“Thanks GlaDos…sure I wouldn’t have died…>.>”
“This room is impossible. Don’t even try.”
“Nu it’s not! I can do it!”
“Now I have to kill you!”
“You were going to anyway!”
“Lie down and a personal person will be there to get you to get cake”
“Like hell I will…THE CAKE IS A LIE!”
Honestly…I felt like a child all the time yelling back at her, but it was fun. At towards the end, I kept going “I hope she doesn’t attack me. I can’t do much with these portals” thinking she would physically attack me…which I was glad she didn’t. I can handle the adorable turrets and the missile launcher thingy…but she got me a bit scared there are the end.
The ending was a bit weird, though I like to think the character got out alive. We did see the surface world for a few seconds before the game cut out to the credits.
And all those notes left on where to go…I thank those who went before me who left them for me…sad you had to lose so much blood though.
BUT…glad I wasn’t turned into Cake…even though I doubt that’s what happens after you go into the fire…but…yeah..Cake is a lie.
(TL’DR…Portal is a fun game, it can mess with your head a little, the cake is a lie, and I yell back at GlaDos like a child)
So…all of a sudden there is a new bad guy in Final Fantasy 12….first it was just the empire…but now there is Venat…who I don’t remember being mentioned all that much. He kinda just appeared out of no where to say he was the big bad guy…though he had been around a little before…but never as the bad guy.
Still…leaves me confused going…okay…who are you…I don’t remember Cid talking to you…this game is confusing…
I mean…he did possess that Viera once…but Venat…and the others of his kind…just kind of came out of no where and gave Ashe the big weapon to win…
Kind of feel like a cop out….like they needed some easy way to defeat the empire. Feels like bad writing at the moment Final Fantasy 12!
So, with Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep…I was disappointed to not have any little Final Fantasy kids running around. While I like Zack…I really wanted to see a little Cloud, Leon…or heck…give me a women holding a baby Yuffie. Anything to show that they lived in Radiant Garden!
I am disappoint.
Though…I wonder if Kairi met any of them before…hm…new ideas stirring…oh! And she might’ve…no…I think did…meet Organization 13 before they were Organization 13…hm…plot plot plot….
So….it’s been a while. Had family problems so yeah…onto the fun stuff.
Let me explain about myself first. If someone is in the room with me while i’m playing a game, I will often talk out loud, yell at the game, try to guess things, and say sarcastic things, and laugh often because of inside jokes. Alone…I still do some of these things, just not as much. I still talk to the game as if it was real.
Anyway…I was around Luin, and there had just been another revealed twist in the game…and that’s about all I remember other then I really wanted to save the Unicorn also. However…I sarastically said that…”Oh, next we’ll find out that Lloyd is Kratos’s son.”
My friend gave me a look at that and turned…since she had played the game before and didn’t want to say anything. I know she was laughing at me now, but at the time thought nothing of it.
“Well, they kind of have the same kind of hair style” I go, making the spikes in their hair with my hands.
Then after that it was dismissed.
Later on…before flying to the tower on the Dragons, I had seen the skit with Lloyd and his boat. I go…”Huh…I can totally see people shipping these two…” In fact…I might’ve gone for it too….but then my friend left the room and I went on DA to just see pictures of it…because I’m sure they would be cute and I’m silly like that.
Took two pictures and I was spoiled.
I just started at the computer for a few minutes…
I couldn’t believe my half-assed comment had been true. When my friend came back I just went….”Kratos is Lloyd’s dad….”
And we laughed after that and then yelled at Kratos to get on with it and tell Lloyd what was going on.
Also, btws….didn’t like Kratos at the beginning. My friend said he’d leave our party so I kept yelling at him because he would do that…and he would be snooty to Lloyd…Now I understand why and just go…aw….he wuvs his son.
So…more Tales of Symphonia talk.
When in the temple of Darkness…when you need to gather the five pieces of darkness to create Shadow…we totally talked to the little creatures.
Constant running back and forth saying…come on…come on little one…follow me.
Honestly, it was a lot of fun, even if it was constant running back to make sure they were following me all the way down to the altar to combine them to make shadow. And of course, trying to get all five pieces when they were in different areas.
That, and me and my friends decided they make a high pitch noise that written out goes: MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII (Or maybe MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE)….almost like the men who say Ni.
And for a while I couldn’t do their little voice because I had done it so often, but I think now I can again…and its fun to make as they are following me around the dungeon. Makes it seem like they are even more adorable.
They just wanna be loved!!!!!!!
Despite my love of Tales of Symphonia, I don’t really like the endings of either the first game, or the second game.
With the first…Kratos. Leaving.
I mean, really…you just found your son…he accepts you as his dad, you saved the worlds and got them to join together to stop the mana from competing, you stopped Yggdrasil…AND YOU ARE JUST GOING TO LEAVE BECAUSE YOU STILL CAN”T FORGIVE YOURSELF AND SAY THAT THE ANGELS NEED SOMEONE UP THERE WITH THEM!!!! WHY NOT YUAN!!! HE DOESN”T HAVE A SON!!! AND THEY SEEMED TO BE JUST FINE WHEN YOU WERE TRAVELLING WITH LLOYD!!! WHY DO THEY NEED YOU AGAIN? GRAH YOU SHOULD STAY WITH YOUR SON AND GO AROUND THE WORLD ON A BOAT WITH HIM AND BE A FATHER!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BAD KRATOS! BAD! YOU NO GO! YOU STAY!
And then there is the ending to the second game. Basically Ratatosk with slowly take the mana out of things (which is what give things life). It will take thousands of years, so no one in this life time has to worry about it…but the world will become a barren planet again because all life will eventually die. Instead of working to balance the mana, no, he decides that it’s okay to just take it out…I forget why…but I was too dumbstruck by it.
YEAH. LET”S JUST LET THE PLANET DIE YEARS AND YEARS FROM NOW. IT”S OKAY.
I first met Sephiroth way before I even got into Final Fantasy VII. I met him in Kingdom Hearts.
Remember that ??? option in the coliseum later on in the game. I went…well, might as well try it.
Going in I was in awe of what was going on…because this guy was coming down from the heavens and there was epic music playing.
So right off the bat I was a little nervous, but I was up to giving it a try. I had leveled quite a bit so I was a bit cocky in what I could take down.
Then the fight started and Sephiroth basically two shot-ed, if not one shot-ed me.
I could only stare at the screen and go…omg…he killed me so fast….
Later on I came to know him as Sephiroth, but I’ll never forget the first meeting. That, and my cousin did the same exact thing too.
